Overview of the 6,400 billion VND ecological forestry area in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City
HCMC - In the heart of HCMC, there is an ecological forest area of more than 150 hectares about to start. The project has a total estimated investment of VND6,400 billion.
Although the detailed planning was approved in 2016, the ecological forestry project of more than 150 hectares in Thu Thiem has only been planned to be launched by Ho Chi Minh City. If invested, this will be the second largest park in Ho Chi Minh City after Saigon Safari Park with an area of 485 hectares in Cu Chi district.
This project with a total estimated investment of up to VND6,400 billion is expected to become the new "green lung" of the city, bringing entertainment, recreation and eco-tourism space to the people.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (residing in Thu Duc City) said that she had heard about the opening of the ecological forestry area for a long time but had not seen it done yet. "I really hope the project will be built soon so that people have a place to play and relax. In the midst of this noisy city, having such a green space is very precious, said Ms. Hoa.
Ms. Le Thi Ba (residing in Thu Duc City): "I hope the forestry area will be built into a green, clean and beautiful park. It will be an ideal place for people to exercise, have fun and enjoy the fresh air".
The Eco-forestry area is located in the new urban area of Thu Thiem, next to the bustling Sala urban area. With a prime location, just from the center of District 1 and District 4 of the Saigon River, the forestry area has great potential to become an attractive destination for people and tourists.
