Standards on professional ethics for preschool teachers are expected to be applied from 2026
Draft Circular regulating the Professional Standards of Preschool Teachers stipulates the standards on professional ethics of preschool teachers.
The Ministry of Education and Training announced a draft Circular regulating the Vocational Regulations for teachers at preschools to collect comments.
This Circular stipulates the professional standards of preschool teachers according to each title, including: Duties; standards on professional ethics; standards on training and fostering qualifications; standards on professional competence and skills.
The subjects of application include: teachers in preschools including: kindergartens, kindergartens, nurseries, nursery groups, independent kindergartens and other relevant organizations and individuals.
In particular, the standards of professional ethics for preschool teachers are clearly stipulated in Article 4 of the draft Circular. Specifically as follows:
Article 4. Standards on professional ethics:
1. Comply with the Party's guidelines and regulations, the State's policies and laws, and regulations of the industry and localities.
2. Regularly cultivate ethics, uphold the sense of responsibility, preserve the qualities, honor and prestige of teachers; be exemplary to children.
3. Love your profession, love children; know how to manage emotions; treat children fairly and respectfully; protect children's legitimate rights and interests; unite and help colleagues.
4. Strictly implement regulations on general responsibilities and obligations of civil servants and regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on teacher ethics.
