Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh meets with young faces and typical Youth Union officials

On the afternoon of March 26, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with typical and promising young Vietnamese faces and typical Youth Union officials on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMC) (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026).

Also attending were Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Lai Xuan Lam - Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, along with representatives of leaders of ministries, departments, and central agencies.

On the side of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, there were Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association...

2026 marks the 95-year glorious history of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnamese youth.

Among the activities towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Secretariat of the Central Youth Union also organized the Forum "Youth Voice, Youth Union Action" to listen to, exchange and absorb opinions and recommendations from union members and youth, recording more than 80,000 opinions and many other activities.

The Vietnamese Typical Young Face Award is an annual award of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee for individuals who have achieved outstanding and comprehensive achievements and made important contributions in various fields.

This year's award has 145 nominations, including 13 doctors and masters; the age range of delegates ranges from 10 to 38 years old.

Through fair selection rounds, the council selected 19 most typical nominations to be included in the online public vote on media platforms.

The typical and promising young Vietnamese faces honored this year are the most outstanding representatives of the intelligence, bravery and aspiration to contribute of Vietnamese youth in the current period.

The outstanding achievements and persistent contributions of outstanding young Vietnamese faces not only bring glory to the country in the international arena but are also a strong source of inspiration, encouraging millions of young people across the country to constantly strive, train and dedicate themselves.
