Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspects Long Thanh airport project

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Central working delegation inspected the actual progress of construction of items of the construction package of Long Thanh airport passenger terminal and air traffic control center.

At the project construction site, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of the investor, contractors, officials, engineers, and workers; at the same time, he requested that the construction process must ensure quality, technique, and aesthetics of the project.

According to a report from Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), so far contractors have mobilized all manpower, covering all construction fronts and the system of machinery and equipment has been maximized.

At many bidding packages, contractors are aiming to complete them in the second quarter of 2026, especially key items such as runways, parking lots, electricity and water systems, internal traffic... to ensure synchronous operating conditions.

In the afternoon of March 29, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the Long Thanh airport project in Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province.

Also participating in the working delegation were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and leaders of central ministries and sectors.
