Prime Minister allows establishment of Tam Anh University
Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has just signed Decision No. 2826/QD-TTg dated December 30, 2025 of the Prime Minister on allowing the establishment of Tam Anh University.
According to Decision No. 2826/QD-TTg, Tam Anh University was established as a private higher education institution under Tam Anh General Hospital Joint Stock Company of Ho Chi Minh City.
Tam Anh University is a private higher education institution headquartered in Tay Ninh province, with legal status, its own seal and account.
The decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation (December 30, 2025).
In Decision No. 315/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister approved the policy to allow the establishment of Tam Anh University; at the same time, assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to organize the appraisal of the dossier and the actual appraisal of the Project to establish Tam Anh University according to the provisions of law on investment and operation conditions in the field of education and related legal regulations, and submit it to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.
Tam Anh University will be a comprehensive university, including many training fields, focusing on healthcare, health care and other important fields.
Tam Anh University is expected to contribute to training high-quality human resources for the health sector, health care in particular and other fields in general, to meet the requirements of both the quantity and quality of human resources of the Vietnamese health sector and many industries that are on the rise rapidly today.
