Tay Ninh is determined to remove bottlenecks and create momentum for growth in 2026

On February 26, Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee held a meeting between provincial leaders and diplomatic missions, associations, unions and the business community.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Van Han - Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee said that 2025 is of special significance as the locality starts implementing the two-level local government model and merging the province.

According to Mr. Han, the arrangement of administrative units opens up a new development space, associated with adjusting the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, thereby creating a foundation for economic restructuring and strengthening regional linkages.

The investment and business environment continues to improve, creating motivation for the business sector to develop. The province has focused resources on starting and inaugurating many key projects in the fields of infrastructure, trade, and services, with a total investment capital of more than 171,000 billion VND.

Thanks to that, Tay Ninh completed and exceeded 12/12 socio-economic targets in the past year. GRDP increased by 9.52%, ranking 8th/34 localities; GRDP scale reached more than 340,000 billion VND, ranking 9th in the country; GRDP per capita reached about 115.6 million VND. Budget revenue was more than 52,700 billion VND, exceeding the central government's estimate; import and export turnover reached over 31 billion USD, maintaining in the top 10 leading localities in the country.

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee said that 2026 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 1st Tay Ninh Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, which is of great significance, creating a foundation for the entire term. The locality sets a double-digit growth target, creating a premise to enter a new stage of development.

Mr. Le Van Han expressed his belief that with the consensus of the political system, people and the business community, Tay Ninh will complete the socio-economic development goals in 2026.

Sharing the same view, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee said that in 2026, the province determines to maintain political stability, promote solidarity, innovate operating methods, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; take people and businesses as the center of service, and build a transparent and favorable investment environment.

The Provincial Party Committee is committed to drastically removing difficulties and definitively handling bottlenecks, especially administrative procedures on investment, land, and finance; creating the best conditions for businesses to operate, aiming to make Tay Ninh a locality with a top-notch favorable investment and business environment.

I believe that, with the spirit of solidarity and consensus of the entire political system and people, Tay Ninh will turn determination into action, develop quickly and sustainably, and improve people's lives," Mr. Quyet said.
