After the merger, 19 communes and wards in Cao Bang are under the Safety Zone
Cao Bang - The locality has just announced 19 communes of the Safety Zone after the arrangement and merger of administrative units in 2025.
The People's Committee of Cao Bang province has just issued Decision No. 2052/QD-UBND on promulgating the list of 19 communes in the safe zone formed after the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in 2025.
The decision was issued on the basis of the provisions of the Law on Organization of Local Government and the Prime Minister's decisions on criteria and procedures for recognizing ATK communes.
Accordingly, 19 communes and wards recognized include: Xuan Truong, Huy Giap, Truong Ha, Lung Nam, Ha Quang, Hoa An, Nam Tuan, Thach An, Duc Long, Minh Khai, Canh Tan, Dong Khe, Nguyen Binh, Minh Tam, Tam Kim, Tinh Tuc, Thanh Cong, Quang Uyen and Thuc Phan.
These are all areas with special positions during the pre-upprising period and resistance wars, continuing to meet the safety criteria after the boundary arrangement.
The People's Committee of Cao Bang province affirmed that the announcement is to ensure administrative consistency and continue to maintain priority policies for ATK commune.
During the period of national defense struggles, these localities have made many important historical contributions, being "red addresses" in the work of educating revolutionary traditions.
The announcement aims to ensure continuity in implementing policies for the Security Zone commune and preserve the revolutionary historical values of the locality. The decision takes effect from the date of signing, assigning departments, branches and authorities at all levels to implement.
