Launching the book 80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly - Historical imprints
The book "80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly - Historical imprints" recreating the 50-year journey of the Vietnamese National Assembly has just been officially launched.
On the afternoon of January 5, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Truth National Political Publishing House in coordination with the National Assembly Office held a book launching ceremony "80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam - Historical Impressions".
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam - Director, Editor-in-Chief of the Truth National Political Publishing House - said that in recent times, many valuable books about the National Assembly have been published at the Truth National Political Publishing House, highly appreciated by cadres, party members and people, domestic and foreign readers.
The book "80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly - Historical imprints" recreated the 50-year journey of the Vietnamese National Assembly. This is a journey of intelligence, courage, dedication and aspiration to continuously rise, towards the goal of serving the people, creating sustainable development of the country and a better future for future generations.
"After 80 years of construction and development, the National Assembly of Vietnam has continuously grown, being the embodiment of the great national unity bloc, the highest representative body of the people, the highest state power body of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, closely attached and responsible to voters, always representing the will and aspirations of the people" - Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam emphasized.
Also at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh affirmed that the book "80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam - Historical imprints" is an important milestone in the process of close and effective coordination between the National Assembly and the National Political Publishing House Truth.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh stated that in the coming time, when the country enters a new era of development, the coordination between the National Assembly and the Truth National Political Publishing House needs to continue to be strengthened and raised to a new level to edit, publish, and promote theoretical, political, and legal publications of theoretical and practical value...
In particular, the second volume of the National Assembly Documents book series will be published, with corrections, supplements, and completion on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the Vietnamese National Assembly; Providing books from the Truth National Political Publishing House to National Assembly deputies at each National Assembly session...
At the ceremony, the leaders of the Truth National Political Publishing House presented the Medal "For the cause of publishing theoretical and political books of the Party and State"; the leaders of the National Assembly presented Certificates of Merit from the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Head of the National Assembly Office to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements and many contributions to the work of coordinating the compilation and publishing of books in recent times.
