Quang Ninh starts construction of bridge project connecting islands in Van Don
Quang Ninh - On the afternoon of December 29, Van Don Special Zone organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to connect the islands with a total investment of 553.5 billion VND.
The project belongs to a series of 15 infrastructure projects to welcome the 14th National Party Congress.
Of these, there are 12 newly started projects and 3 projects inaugurated, opened for technical traffic, and closed, with a total investment of over VND 2,300 billion.
Notable projects include: Mang River bridge project, connecting Minh Chau - Quan Lan island with Ban Sen island, total investment of 553.5 billion VND, construction period of 20 months.
The service road project along the main axis of the Cai Rong urban area, with a total capital of over 198 billion VND, construction time of 240 days.
The project to build a new Cai Rong market, with a total investment of 147 billion VND, construction time of 330 days.
Ha Long Secondary School Project (phase 2), total investment capital of more than 168 billion VND, construction time of 360 days...
The simultaneous implementation of projects will help Van Don special area gradually complete a synchronous and modern infrastructure system; enhance connectivity of development space, shorten regional distances; facilitate trade, tourism and attract investment.
