General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - has just sent a Letter to officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, workers and national defense officials, workers throughout the army, militia and reserve forces nationwide.

In the letter, General Phan Van Giang clearly stated that in the Year of the Snake 2025, under the leadership and direction of the Party and State, directly the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and Party committees and commanders of agencies and units; the close coordination of central departments, ministries, branches, Party committees, and local authorities; the valuable support and assistance of the people, the entire army has promoted heroic traditions, solidarity, unity, self-reliance, self-strengthening, proactively overcoming difficulties, organizing the implementation and comprehensive completion of military and national defense goals and tasks, which are recognized and highly appreciated by the Party, State and people.

Notably: Performing well the strategic advisory function with the Party and State on military and national defense; effectively handling situations, firmly protecting territorial sovereignty; maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for building and developing the country.

Promoting the core role in building the all-people national defense, the all-people national defense posture associated with the people's security posture is increasingly solid. The overall quality, strength, level and combat readiness (SSCĐ) of the entire army have been improved. Actively participating in preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, searching, rescuing, and removing temporary and dilapidated houses.

Advise and coordinate to well organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South, national reunification, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, strongly arousing patriotism and widely spreading the values of peace and national independence among the people and international friends.

The aspects of training, political education - training, building regularity, management discipline, law compliance; logistics - technical work, finance; defense industry, science, technology, digital transformation; international integration and defense foreign affairs... achieved good results. The Army Party Committee is clean, strong, exemplary, typical, the Army is absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, to the Party, the State and the People.

In the letter, General Phan Van Giang clearly stated that entering the year of Binh Ngo 2026, a year of great significance in implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress of the Army and the direction of Comrade To Lam, General Secretary, Secretary of the Central Military Commission on "2 steadfastness, 2 promoting, 2 preventing", the motto "5 solid" and the goal "Determined to research and produce advanced and modern weapons and equipment"; building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern People's Army, making many new feats and achievements, excellently completing all assigned tasks; contributing to the entire Party and people's self-reliance, self-strengthening, self-confidence, and strong progress in the era of national rise, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, prosperity, civilization, happiness, firmly moving towards socialism.
