Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan - Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate was introduced as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly.
On January 16, implementing the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the work of introducing personnel to run for National Assembly deputies, the Government Inspectorate collected opinions from voters at the workplace with Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate to introduce the candidate for National Assembly deputies for the 16th term, 2026-2031.
At the conference, voters listened to a summary of biographies and a presentation of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate to participate in the nomination of a National Assembly delegate for the 16th term; at the same time, the provisions of the law on standards and conditions for running for National Assembly delegates were disseminated.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan is a senior leader of the Party, well-trained, has strong political will, pure moral qualities, exemplary lifestyle, and high prestige in the Party, the political system and the people.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan was born in 1975, from Ninh Binh province. He received professional training in Economic Crime Investigation (People's Police Academy); a PhD in Criminal Law majoring in Criminalology and Criminal Investigation. Political theory qualification: Senior.
He has rich and diverse experience in many fields, and has held many important positions in central and local agencies such as: Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department at the Economic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), and is also Secretary to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security; was then appointed Head of the Economic Police Department - Deputy Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Ninh Provincial Police; Party Committee member, Deputy Director of the Waterway Police Department - Ministry of Public Security.
Since 2018, he has held the positions of Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police Command, Director of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police, and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee (now Hue City). In January 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Delegation, he was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021 - 2026.
In July 2021, he was transferred and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee. In 2024, he was appointed Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court. On November 4, 2025, the Prime Minister decided to appoint him to the position of Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.
With great contributions during his work, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan was awarded the First Class Medal of Merit (2014); the title of National Emulation Fighter (20ops) and the First, Second, and Third Class glorious Soldier Medal.
At the conference, after democratic discussion, 100% of voters of the Government Inspectorate agreed and unanimously introduced Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly, demonstrating high solidarity and consensus. Immediately afterwards, the Government Inspectorate continued to organize a collective conference of the Party Committee Standing Committee and leaders of the expanded Government Inspectorate in accordance with regulations; the conference once again agreed to introduce Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan to run for the 16th National Assembly.
The introduction of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan as a National Assembly delegate not only fully meets the conditions and standards to shoulder the responsibilities of National Assembly deputies, but also demonstrates the trust and expectations of agencies and units for his important contributions to the activities of the 16th National Assembly, in order to build legal policies and resolve important issues of the country.
The Government Inspectorate has officially completed the list and personnel documents to introduce Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate to run for the 16th National Assembly.
