The Can Tho - Ca Mau Expressway project started on January 1, 2023, with a total length of more than 110 km, a total investment of VND 27,523 billion, with My Thuan Project Management Board as the investor. Mr. Tran Van Thi - Director of My Thuan Project Management Board (investor) - said that after nearly 3 years of construction, at the peak of the project, there were about 1,500 equipment, more than 3,000 engineers and workers divided into more than 200 construction teams along the route overnight, during holidays, and during holidays.

According to Mr. Tran Van Thi, the expressway connecting Can Tho to Ca Mau has been basically completed and is currently completing the work to open the technical traffic on December 19.
