Khanh Hoa - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung emphasized solutions for the province to remove bottlenecks to attract many investors and businesses.
On July 25, speaking at a meeting with more than 300 businesses and investors in 2025 organized by the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung assessed this as a very meaningful conference for the locality right after implementing the merger policy.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung raised 4 points that Khanh Hoa province needs to focus on implementing: ensuring smooth administration when implementing 2-level local government.
For leaders who must be pioneers in innovation, cadres need to set an example, be brave, creative, dare to think, dare to do, eliminate local ideas. In particular, putting the common interest first to take advantage of opportunities and fortunes of the new Khanh Hoa province.
The locality urgently completes the planning, maximizing the potential and advantages of expanding development space after merging provinces. Proactively and strongly improve the investment and business environment, promote digital transformation, and reform administrative procedures.
With the identified bottlenecks, it is necessary to continue promoting dialogue mechanisms with the business community to respond and promptly handle problems.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung also noted that Khanh Hoa attaches economic growth to progress and social justice, no one is left behind. Especially in remote ethnic minority areas in the West of the province.
For businesses and investors, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested proactively grasping new development trends and major orientations of the province in planning.
Investment opportunities in the fields of clean energy, logistics, tourism, clean agriculture or large data centers, AI industry... are opening up hugely.
Along with the leading role, investors also need to pay attention to investing in institutions for workers.
"Investors continue to accompany the government, boldly propose new ideas, promptly reflect problems and arises in the project implementation process, thereby becoming "wards" on the economic front of Khanh Hoa, contributing more and more to the development of the province and the country", the Deputy Prime Minister suggested.
At the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province and Vietnam Airlines Corporation, period 2026-2030.
Cooperation agreement between Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Foreign Trade Joint Stock Commercial Bank on enhancing investment promotion and a preferential credit package of VND50,000 billion for key investment projects in the province.
The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Khanh Hoa Branch also signed a short-term credit financing contract of VND 3,805 billion with HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Company Limited.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has also issued 7 decisions approving investors to representatives of enterprises implementing projects in Khanh Hoa province.
