Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front To Thi Bich Chau meets voters

Informing voters about some contents that will be discussed, commented on and approved by the National Assembly at the upcoming 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, delegate Dang Van Lam said that the session is expected to open in the first session from May 5 to May 28 and the second session from June 11 to June 28. The National Assembly will consider and approve about 30 laws, resolutions and draft laws.

Major General Dang Van Lam assessed that in recent times, the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation has received many opinions from voters sent to the National Assembly sessions and the National Assembly deputies have effectively communicated voters' opinions and recommendations at the National Assembly House.

At the meeting, voters expressed their concern for the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, expressing their frustration that the negative and harassing situation at the grassroots level has not been able to be "rooted" yet. Voters suggested that the National Assembly Delegation should raise this issue with the National Assembly session and amend and supplement the law to have a stronger deterrent against corruption crimes.

Many voters are also interested in the current policy of organizing and arranging the local government apparatus. The majority of opinions agreed, saying that this reform will help streamline the apparatus, increase the efficiency of state management work; at the same time, quickly and promptly resolve the rights and interests of people, individuals and organizations in the coming time.

Speaking to receive voters' opinions, Delegate To Thi Bich Chau - Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that the 7 opinions of voters sent and recommendations to the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly will be recorded by the National Assembly Delegation - Unit No. 8, received and reflected to the National Assembly. In particular, some of the concerns of the people in Pham Van Hai commune under the authority of the locality, delegate To Thi Bich Chau suggested that the leaders of the People's Committee of Binh Chanh district (wishing to hold a conference) and the authorities of Pham Van Hai commune, Binh Chanh district should soon organize a reception for the people and resolve them thoroughly.

According to delegate To Thi Bich Chau, in cases where the dossier and legality are clear, the grassroots government needs to proactively resolve them immediately. In particular, it is necessary to resolve the issue appropriately before the communes are merged according to the central policy. This is an important task to demonstrate the responsibility of the commune government towards the local people.

At the meeting, delegates from the National Assembly Delegation - Unit No. 8 also presented gifts worth 150 million VND to support house repair to representatives of 3 households in difficult circumstances in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
