At the conference, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long emphasized that 2026 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, continuing to implement the newly issued Politburo resolutions, with a series of new and breakthrough thinking; crimes continue to develop complicatedly.

The Criminal Police force must shift their thinking from fighting to prevention, taking prevention as a basis, striving for the goal of reducing crimes against social order.
