Many ways to improve knowledge and awareness for workers

With the characteristics of a large number of workers working in industrial parks and export processing zones, Hanoi identifies the dissemination of legal education among workers and civil servants as a key and continuous task. Thereby, the Capital Trade Union at all levels has proactively implemented a series of models close to reality, suitable to the living and working conditions of workers.

Every year, the Hanoi Trade Union establishes 4 - 6 new Workers' Cultural Activity Points with initial investment funds of 50-90 million VND/point and investment of 400 million VND to upgrade the Current Workers' Cultural Activity Points; gradually build cultural institutions at the grassroots level, promote the purchase of additional documents for legal bookcases so that workers can easily exploit and access the law.

To date, there are 75 Workers' Cultural Activity Points and 244 Trade Union relaxation Corners in Hanoi.

With the goal of raising legal awareness in the business community, the City Labor Federation has directed trade unions at all levels to actively implement programs to build culturally standard agencies, units and enterprises. In the 2023-2024 period, 2,780 units were recognized, including 539 agencies, 1,871 units, 370 enterprises.

Along with direct models, the Capital Trade Union at all levels also effectively promoted the News of the Grassroots Trade Union Activities, distributing 10,700 volumes per month, providing new policy information, laws, and professional knowledge for union officials and workers at the grassroots level.

It is worth mentioning that the creative models of legal propaganda of the Capital Trade Union organization do not stop at conveying information but have truly become the foundation for building a workforce that understands the law, lives correctly, and meets standards.
