Many HCMC leaders elected as HCMC People's Council deputies
Ho Chi Minh City - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Le Quoc Phong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc and 123 elected delegates of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.

In the recent election, Ho Chi Minh City had 99% of voters across the area participating in voting. All communes, wards, and special zones of Ho Chi Minh City had voter turnout reaching over 95%, of which 38 communes and wards had voter turnout reaching 100%.
