Many union units and enterprises support people in flooded areas of Nghe An
Nghe An - Due to the impact of storm No. 3, trade unions and enterprises have urgently supported people in the West to overcome difficulties after the flood.
On July 25, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor said that due to the impact of storm No. 3, many localities in the West of Nghe An suffered a historic flood, causing heavy damage to people and property.
Responding to the call from the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, units and enterprises in the area have urgently joined hands to support people in flooded areas to overcome difficulties.
Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation has mobilized trucks and tankers to coordinate with functional forces to directly transport drinking water and domestic water to isolated people lacking clean water.
The Board of Directors and the Trade Union of Nghe An Construction Corporation Joint Stock Company have donated 200 million VND to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to support households affected by floods.
Kido Vinh Company Limited also donated 50 million VND through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Trung commune, sharing some of the difficulties with the people in the mountainous areas of Nghe An.
In addition, the Dien Truong People's Credit Fund Trade Union has donated 1 day's salary, a total of 5 million VND, to people in disaster areas, demonstrating the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves".
