Nghe An's state budget revenue in the first 10 months reached VND 22,294 billion

On November 4, at the regular meeting of the People's Committee of Nghe An province in October, Director of the Department of Finance Trinh Thanh Hai said that the total state budget revenue in 10 months reached VND 22,294 billion, equal to 125.8% of the estimate, up 13.9% over the same period.

Of which, domestic revenue reached VND 20,600 billion (128.6% of the estimate, up 14.1%), revenue from import-export activities was VND 1,564 billion (reaching 96% of the estimate, up 8.2%).

Local budget expenditure for the first 10 months is estimated at VND39,788 billion, reaching 94.8% of the estimate.

According to the report of the Department of Finance, in October, sectors and localities focused on directing and urging the implementation of tasks in the fourth quarter, while overcoming the consequences of floods, ensuring the highest completion of annual plan targets.

The socio-economic situation of the whole province generally achieved positive results, the industrial production index (IIP) in October increased by 18.42%, accumulated in 10 months increased by 16.44% over the same period. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue is estimated at more than VND 144.7 trillion, up 14.46%. Export turnover reached 3,688 million USD, equal to 92.2% of the annual plan, up 39.8% over the same period.

Regarding public investment, as of October 20, the whole province has disbursed VND 4,730 billion, reaching 43.41% of the plan, lower than the same period last year.
Investment attraction still recorded positive results: After 10 months, Nghe An approved investment policies for 63 new projects, adjusted 168 projects, with a total newly granted capital and increased by VND 37,039 billion.Of which, FDI reached 977.2 million USD, including 19 new projects and 15 capital adjustment projects.

In the social field, the province has created jobs for more than 37,300 workers, reaching 81.09% of the plan; successfully organized Techfest Nghe An 2025 and the launching ceremony of " Lifelong Learning Week".

Administrative reform, digital transformation, and disciplinary and administrative discipline rectification continue to be strengthened.

In particular, after the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee successfully organized the 20th Congress of Delegates, the Provincial People's Committee issued Action Program No. 02-CTr/TU, directing the removal of obstacles in implementing the 2-level local government model.
