Regarding the tunnel excavation progress, MRB informed that TBM1 named " expressway" has completed about 1,341m of tunnel, and is moving in the S10 Station area.

According to MRB, to prepare and ensure safety for people during the process of the TBM1 moving from the upcoming S10 - Cat Linh station to the upcoming S11 - Van Mieu station, the project has been implemented according to plan, sent to 9 households to arrange, relocate temporary housing and hand over the site.
According to the plan, 9 households will be supported with temporary residence for 1 month according to the agreed time for each household, until TBM1 completes drilling through this area.
In addition to the 9 households mentioned above, 2 other households in the affected area have handed over the site for the project for demolition and received support for reconstruction.

Previously, on February 20, 2025, when the TBM1 machine passed through the residential area of Lane 7 Giang Van Minh, Kim Ma Ward (Ba Dinh District), an incident occurred where the additive was dumped on the ground.
According to MRB, during the drilling process, the tunnel drill accessories are sprayed with pressure to stabilize the soil in front of the peach mirror. When encountering holes, tunnel drilling additives combining water and fine materials in the soil will follow these holes to the ground.
The above epidemic is determined to be completely harmless, environmentally friendly, meeting European standards and has undergone strict inspections and approvals of the project.
By February 27, 2025, observational data showed that some points in lane 7 Giang Van Minh had subsidence exceeding the warning threshold.
According to the highest safety principle, the project has decided to relocate 11 additional households in lane 7, Giang Van Minh street. Previously, 4 households had been temporarily relocated according to the original plan of the project.
After the incident, MRB directed Systra Consulting and the Huyndai - Ghella Contractor consortium to continue surveying and providing solutions to minimize the occurrence of similar situations, as well as the impact on people in the future...
