Pensions for February and March 2026 are paid in bulk

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Official Dispatch No. 07/CD-TTg dated February 1, 2026, sent to Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government; Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities on urging the implementation of tasks to serve the people welcoming the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

To prepare carefully and ensure the necessary conditions to serve the people to celebrate the New Year 2026 and enjoy spring and welcome the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, the Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of provinces and cities to proactively have plans to ensure sufficient transportation vehicles to serve people and overseas Vietnamese returning to their hometowns for Tet.

The People's Committees of provinces and cities shall base on the actual situation, capacity, and conditions of the locality to decide on the organization of fireworks displays during the Lunar New Year, creating an atmosphere of solidarity, joy, and excitement among the people but ensuring thrift, absolute safety, and in accordance with regulations.

Effectively implement social security policies, promote the tradition of great unity, the spirit of "love and affection" of the nation, proactively and actively take care of the material and spiritual life of the people, ensure that everyone and every household have conditions to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet; monitor and urge businesses to fully pay salaries and Tet bonuses to employees" - the telegram clearly stated.

Localities also need to strengthen management, ensure environmental sanitation, and maintain a bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape in public areas and tourist attractions in the area.

The Ministry of Finance directs Vietnam Social Security to effectively implement the settlement and payment of regimes on social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance to ensure full and timely coverage.

The Prime Minister reminded Vietnam Social Security to implement the combined payment of 2 months of pensions and social insurance allowances (February and March 2026) in the February payment period to create conditions for policy beneficiaries to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet.

The Ministry of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with ministries, agencies, and localities to promptly issue national reserves to the right beneficiaries, ensure social security, especially in areas where natural disasters and storms occur... to prevent people from being hungry during the Lunar New Year and the pre-harvest period.

The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with ministries, agencies, and localities to closely monitor the market situation, direct localities and units to prepare sufficient sources of essential goods, to prevent shortages and supply disruptions causing unreasonable price increases; strongly implement market stabilization programs, connect supply and demand, and bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas, industrial parks and remote and isolated areas.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade closely coordinates with the People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct the Market Management force to launch a campaign to strengthen the work of preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; inspect and control the market, inspect the origin, quality of products and goods.

In particular, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is required to ensure the supply of gasoline, oil, and electricity for the production and business activities of enterprises and the lives of people, absolutely not to let shortages occur in any situation.
