Lao Cai continues to accept processing of applications for granting and renewing driving licenses

Lao Cai Department of Transport informed that, implementing the Directive of the Vietnam Road Administration, from 1:30 p.m. on February 19, the unit will continue to receive documents for issuing, exchanging, and reissuing road motor vehicle licenses of all kinds (including direct reception at the Lao Cai Provincial Public Administration Service Center, reception points of the Provincial Post Office and online on the National Public Service Portal).

In addition, continue to organize road motor vehicle driving tests and issuance of driving licenses for all classes (a1 class cars, cars of all classes) organized by the Department of Transport of Lao Cai province and complete the signing of the decision to recognize the admission, issue driving licenses to the successful candidates until the time of official assignment of tasks by the competent authority.

Previously, on February 13, Lao Cai Department of Transport issued a document announcing the temporary suspension of receiving applications for issuance, renewal, organization of testing, and issuance of driving licenses from 0:00 on February 18, 2025.
