Lam Dong streamlines 723 part-time workers at the commune level
Lam Dong has just approved a list of 723 non-professional workers at the commune level who have quit their jobs under the staff streamlining policy.
On October 6, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the list of 723 non-professional workers at the commune level subject to the staff reduction policy under Decree No. 154/2025 of the Government.
These are cases of joblessness since the province implemented the 2-level local government model.
According to this decision, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to appraise the budget estimates for streamlining the payroll for agencies and units under its management; at the same time, submit to competent authorities to arrange funding sources from the state budget expenditure estimate to pay policies to subjects in accordance with regulations.
In addition, the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones are required to organize the implementation of staff streamlining and payment of regimes and policies for each individual named on the approved list, ensuring correct procedures, transparency and timeliness.
