Starting construction of 2 inter-level boarding schools in Ha Tinh border commune
On the morning of November 9, in Ha Tinh, the groundbreaking ceremony for 2 Inter-level Boarding Schools for Primary and Secondary Schools in Huong Khe and Son Kim 1 communes was held. Attending the ceremony at the Son Kim 1 Primary - Secondary Boarding School project was Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.
At Huong Khe Primary - Secondary Boarding School, there were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Huy Thanh and a number of leaders of departments, branches and localities of Huong Khe commune attending.
Son Kim 1 Primary - Secondary Boarding School and Huong Khe Primary - Secondary Boarding School have a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND.
In particular, the Son Kim 1 Primary - Secondary Boarding School Project is implemented in Trung village on an area of over 5 hectares with a scale of 40 classes for over 1,300 students. The estimated construction investment cost is about 140 billion VND.
The Huong Khe Inter-level Boarding School project is built in Phu Gia village, Huong Khe commune on an area of over 5 hectares, with a construction cost of about 160 billion VND.
At the groundbreaking ceremony of Huong Khe Primary - Secondary Boarding School, Mr. Tran Bao Ha - Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee said that he had requested the Huong Khe commune government and relevant departments to coordinate and create conditions for contractors to focus on construction to ensure progress, quality, and determination to complete it to put it into operation from the beginning of the new school year 2026 - 2027.
Implementing the policy of building Inter-level Boarding Schools for Primary and Secondary Schools in border communes according to the Government's policy, Ha Tinh province proposed to build 7 schools in 7 border communes in the period of 2025 - 2026 with a total investment of more than 740 billion VND.
In particular, in 2025, the Son Kim 1 Primary - Secondary Boarding School and Huong Khe Primary - Secondary Boarding School will start construction.
The remaining 5 projects are expected to be implemented in 2026 with a total investment of more than 440 billion VND in Son Kim 2, Son Hong, Vu Quang, Huong Xuan, Huong Binh communes.
