Khanh Hoa - Nha Trang Public Service Management Board will officially transfer all the tasks of managing and operating public services to the People's Committees of communes and wards.
On December 8, information from the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province said that from January 1, 2026, a series of tasks of management, operation and exploitation of public services under the Nha Trang Public Service Management Board (Department of Construction) will be transferred to the People's Committees of communes and wards.
This decentralization aims to improve the efficiency of urban management, increase proactiveness for the grassroots and link local responsibility with the quality of public services.
Accordingly, the items are transferred widely in many fields.
In particular, Bac Nha Trang ward will take over the management of Pham Van Dong beach seating rental and rental services for coastal events.
Operate 1 parking point, 1 bus ticket sales point; maintain trees, lighting, drainage, public drinking water towers; operate flood-proof pumps; ensure coastal order and check Suoi Tom lake.
Nha Trang Ward is the unit receiving the largest number of tasks with 7 parking points and 4 bus ticket sales points on the Tran Phu beach park route.
Manage the rental of beach chairs, the rental of event space at Thanh Nien Football fields; receive the space of Square 2.4; care for the flocks of doves; operate drinking water poles, footrests, trees, lighting and drainage systems.
This locality is also in charge of the loudspeaker cluster to promote and ensure order, hygiene, and urban civilization in the coastal park area.
Tay Nha Trang Ward and Nam Nha Trang Ward take on the tasks of maintaining trees, collecting garbage, managing lighting and urban drainage.
Nam Nha Trang ward alone collects additional drainage fees for groundwater exploitation enterprises. Tay Nha Trang Ward takes over a flood prevention pumping machine.
In the suburban area, Cam Lam and Dien Khanh communes are assigned to manage the public lighting system and pay monthly electricity bills.
Nha Trang Public Service Management Board is responsible for clearly defining the scope, volume and assets before handing over.
The People's Committees of wards and communes will receive, review and organize management according to actual conditions. The Department of Construction coordinates to monitor the implementation process.
