Opening of the Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front
On the morning of April 17, the 3rd Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) took place in Hanoi, term X.
The conference was chaired by: Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. To Thi Bich Chau - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to the program, on the morning of April 17, delegates will discuss and give opinions on the following contents: Submission for comments on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Law on Trade Unions; Law on Youth; Law on Grassroots Democracy.
Discuss and give opinions on: Draft report summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people to send to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
The conference will also invite Government representatives to inform about some contents on the merger of some provincial-level administrative units, not district-level organizations, and continued merger of commune-level administrative units.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front suggested that the delegates promote democracy and focus on discussing the above contents enthusiastically. The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will receive and complete the documents, and submit them to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
