Sports festival connects union members and workers
Can Tho - Union members and workers enthusiastically participated in the sports festival to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
From July 25 to August 24, the Trade Union of Lac Ty II Company Limited in Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park, Can Tho City will organize the 2025 LHG Cup Volleyball Tournament for male officers, union members and workers working at the company.
The tournament is held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
According to the representative of the grassroots Trade Union, this is a practical activity to create a healthy playground, exercise physically, enhance the spirit of solidarity, exchange and learning between union members and workers. At the same time, through the tournament, the unit hopes to discover more positive factors, contributing to promoting movement activities at the company.
This year, the tournament brings together 20 men's teams to compete in a 6-a-side format. The Organizing Committee will award First, Second, Third, and Fourth prizes along with many consolation prizes. All teams are supported with funding to participate.
Through this sports activity, the Trade Union of Lac Ty II Company Limited hopes to continue spreading the competitive spirit of "Goodness for work, creativity, dedication", thereby contributing to improving the spiritual life of workers and building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
