The project is not only a school construction project but also has profound social significance, showing the concern and care of the Party and State for the children of ethnic minorities in areas still facing many difficulties.

According to General Secretary To Lam, when completed and put into operation, with a scale of serving nearly 700 students of Ea Rok commune and neighboring areas, the school will create a relatively synchronous learning, living and training environment. From there, it will contribute to helping children develop comprehensively in terms of intellect, skills, physique and personality.
The new project also contributes to creating an important shift in local education development, fostering local human resources, gradually improving people's knowledge, and promoting socio-economic development. Thereby, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups.
The Ministry of National Defense has proactively mobilized resources and directly organized investment in construction of the project. This is a practical work, demonstrating the spirit of responsibility, sharing and companionship of the army with localities and ethnic minority areas that are still facing many difficulties. Thereby, contributing to the Party and State in caring for the cause of education and training for the sustainable development of the country and consolidating national defense and security," General Secretary To Lam emphasized.
To ensure the project is completed soon and effective, General Secretary To Lam requested the Ministry of National Defense to continue to coordinate with Dak Lak province and relevant agencies to organize construction to ensure progress and quality... so that children can soon have new schools and classes in the coming school year. At the same time, it is necessary to manage and use investment resources effectively, maximizing the function of the project after completion.
At the program, General Secretary To Lam and high-level delegates presented 20 gifts to poor households and 30 students in the area (belonging to difficult families, poor households, and near-poor households).

Mr. Ly Van Doan (village 16, Ea Rok commune) said that although the distance from the center of Dak Lak province to the remote border commune is difficult to travel, General Secretary To Lam still pays deep attention to ethnic minorities in remote areas. This clearly shows the concern of Party and State leaders for people's lives, especially before the Lunar New Year. Receiving gifts from the General Secretary helps poor households like him have a warmer and more fulfilling Tet both materially and spiritually. From this great joy, the family will be confident and have more motivation to rise up together in life, striving to escape poverty sustainably. Thereby, contributing to building an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland to welcome new springs that are more complete and warmer.
H'Yu Mi Nie (7th grade student, Le Dinh Chinh Secondary School, Ea Rok commune) shared that her family is considered a near-poor household, with many members, and her parents do not have stable jobs. At one point, due to difficult circumstances, she thought about dropping out of school to work as a hired laborer.
However, thanks to the encouragement of relatives and friends, she still persistently went to class. When I received the gift from General Secretary To Lam, I felt very happy and motivated to continue studying, towards a brighter future.
Ea Rok commune was established on the basis of the merger of 3 former communes Cu Kbang, Ia Loi and Ea Rok. This is a particularly difficult commune, bordering the border communes Ea Bung, Ia Lop and Ia R've. The commune has a total natural area of 54,000ha, population of 29,000 people. In which, including 28 brotherly ethnic groups, accounting for 67.33%.
Ea Rok Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School is built in hamlet 8, Ea Rok commune on an area of nearly 6ha. When the school is completed and put into operation, it will create conditions for more than 630 students in Ea Rok commune and surrounding areas to study and train.
