Hung Yen Provincial People's Council elects additional members of the Provincial People's Committee, term XVII
Hung Yen - On December 23, the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, held the 35th Session to review and decide on many important contents under its authority.
At the session, the Provincial People's Committee submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration, comments and approval of many important submissions and draft resolutions, focusing on the fields of land, social security, finance - budget, housing development and election preparation.
In particular, there are draft resolutions on: promulgating regulations on land price lists applicable from January 1, 2026 in the province; regulations on gifts from the province on the occasion of Lunar New Year, War Invalids and Martyrs Day (27-7); regulations on gifts for longevity and longevity for the elderly; social assistance policies for some social protection beneficiaries; support levels from the state budget to pay health insurance, voluntary social insurance for some subjects...
The committees of the Provincial People's Council presented inspection reports for each submission and draft resolution, clarifying the legal basis, necessity and feasibility of the contents submitted to the Session.
At the session, the Provincial People's Council implemented the process of removing Mr. Cao Quang Hung - Member of the Provincial People's Committee, term XVII, 2021 - 2026 for being transferred and assigned other work; elected Mr. Vu Quoc Nghi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, 2021 - 2026 for being transferred and assigned to another job; and elected Mr. Vu Quoc Nghi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Inspector of the province. The session also implemented the process of dismissing the duties of a delegate of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vuong - former Deputy Director of the Provincial Police - due to being transferred and assigned other work.
After half a day of urgent, serious, democratic and responsible work, the 35th Session has completed the entire set program.
Speaking at the closing session, Mr. Tran Quoc Van - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - affirmed that the resolutions passed at the session clearly demonstrate the decisive role of the elected body, meeting practical requirements in the management, operation and implementation of socio-economic development tasks of the province; at the same time, affirming the proactiveness and companionship of the Provincial People's Council with the Provincial People's Committee in resolving problems arising from practice.
In order for the resolutions to come into life soon, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments, branches and localities to organize the announcement, guidance and unified implementation of regulations on land price lists applicable from January 1, 2026, ensuring publicity, transparency, and compliance with legal regulations; focus on seriously implementing resolutions on housing development, finance - budget; effectively and for the right purpose of resources.
At the same time, fully and promptly implement social security policies, ensure the right subjects; proactively prepare and organize well the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term in accordance with regulations.
