On November 13, the Central Steering Committee grasped the situation of the people and public opinion on Party Congresses at all levels; organized to collect opinions, synthesize comments from cadres, Party members and people on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, and worked with the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

According to the report of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the announcement of draft documents and the organization of consultation have been implemented seriously and effectively, receiving widespread support from cadres, party members and people of the city.

In just the first three weeks, Ho Chi Minh City has organized 8,295 conferences, seminars, and seminars with 17,584 comments; at the same time, there were 36,619 comments via the VNeID application and 1,963 written comments sent to the authorities.

The majority of opinions were highly unanimous, evaluating the draft documents as being prepared elaborately, scientifically, with reasonable layouts, and concise and easy-to-understand documents; demonstrating innovative thinking, inheritance, objectively assessing the country's reality and setting clear goals and solutions for the 2026 - 2030 period.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Le Quoc Phong emphasized that with the characteristics of a large area, large population and diverse population structure, Ho Chi Minh City always considers the work of grasping the situation of the people and public opinion as a particularly important task.

The city has innovated methods, applied technology and expanded the network of 168 information points to ensure that the collection, analysis and handling of public opinion are carried out in a timely, complete and more realistic manner.

HCMC sets a higher requirement for public opinion grasp, to be scientific, in-depth, going to the end of the problem, not leaving important information out - Mr. Le Quoc Phong emphasized.

According to Mr. Le Quoc Phong, the content of this draft document has received special attention from the city's people. Concluding the working session, Mr. Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee - highly appreciated the strong and effective direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee in synchronously implementing many major tasks, especially the work of collecting opinions and synthesizing people's comments on the draft documents of the 14th National Congress.

Mr. Pham Tat Thang suggested that in the coming time, Ho Chi Minh City should continue to promote and widely disseminate the content of the draft document in many rich, modern and more accessible forms, especially for union members, youth, workers and ethnic minorities.

In addition, it is necessary to spread enthusiastic opinions with high theoretical and practical values, contributing to strengthening trust and creating social consensus towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The city also needs to proactively fight against and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints, firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation and build a strong people's heart position in cyberspace.
