According to the plan, after rearranging administrative units, the new Tay Ninh province will establish 4 regional defense command boards (under the old Tay Ninh province: 2 boards and the old Long An province: 2 boards); transfer the Border Guard Command of Tay Ninh and Long An provinces to the Border Guard Command under the Military Command of Tay Ninh province.
