Orientation of job positions for civil servants in the Commune-level Military Command

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued Official Letter 7415/BNV-CCVC and Official Letter 7644/BNV-CCVC in 2025 to orient the list of job positions of the Commune-level Military Command and recruitment of civil servants of the Commune-level Military Command.

In Official Dispatch 7415/BNV-CCVC, the Ministry of Home Affairs oriented the job positions of the Commune-level Military Command as follows:

Determine the tasks and capacity framework of the job position for the Commander of the Commune Military Command; Deputy Commander of the Commune Military Command; Assistant to the Military Command: Comply with the provisions of the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces; instructions of the Ministry of National Defense (if any).

According to Official Dispatch 7644/BNV-CCVC, based on Clause 9, Article 10 of Law No. 98/2025/QH15, the Commander, Deputy Commander, and Assistant to the Commune-level Military Command are civil servants. Accordingly, these cases are recruited according to the provisions of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants 2025 and Decree 170/2025/ND-CP, except for cases where they are cadres and civil servants.
