Dien Bien finalizes the number of Vice Chairmen of People's Committees at commune and ward levels
Dien Bien - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision regulating the number of Vice Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards in the area.
According to Decision No. 380 signed by Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong, the total number of Vice Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards of the province is 103 people.
Vice Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards are suitable for the scale and characteristics of each administrative unit.
13 communes and wards have 3 Vice Chairman of People's Committee including: Muong Lay, Muong Thanh, Dien Bien Phu, Thanh Nua, Na Sang, Na Son, Na Hy, Muong Nhe, Chieng Sinh, Muong Ang, Tuan Giao, Tua Chua, Muong Cha.
The remaining 32 communes have 2 Vice Chairmen of the People's Committees.
Currently, Dien Bien province has 45 commune-level administrative units, including 42 communes and 3 wards. Among them, Sin Thau commune has the largest natural area with 516.42 km2, while Muong Thanh ward has the smallest area with 27.56 km2.
