Nearly 20 hectares of planted forest in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang will be converted to build Hoa Nhon and Hoa Lien Industrial Clusters.

On April 26, the People's Council of Da Nang City approved the conversion of the purpose of using nearly 20 hectares of planted forest in Hoa Vang District to build Hoa Nhon Industrial Cluster and Hoa Lien Industrial Cluster.

Specifically, 15.4 hectares of planted forest in Hoa Nhon commune will be used for Hoa Nhon Industrial Cluster (total area of 24.75 hectares). The conversion of this forest land purpose is to build a modern, concentrated industrial cluster with synchronous infrastructure, focusing on environmental protection and promoting socio-economic development. This forest area is located in lots 1, 2, 3, compartment 2 of Sub-zone 50N and lots 4, 6, 8, compartment 1 of Sub-zone NTK10.

The remaining 4.013 hectares of planted forest in Hoa Lien commune, belonging to lots 1, 2, compartment 1, Sub-area 36B, will be reserved for Hoa Lien Industrial Cluster, converted from the Da Nang High-Tech Park Service Support Area project.

Both forest areas are under the production forest planning, invested by the people and are in accordance with the national forestry planning and the planning of Da Nang city.
