Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway construction site in the days leading up to Tet

The investment project to build the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway (expressway CT. 08) passing through Ninh Binh province is about 52.9km long (of which, the old Ninh Binh province is 25.3km; the old Nam Dinh is 27.6km).

The road is designed with a scale of 4 complete lanes, roadbed width of 24.75m; design speed of 120km/h. The project starts in Nghia Hung commune, Ninh Binh province and ends in Thai Thuy commune, Hung Yen province.

At this time, although Tet Nguyen Dan is approaching, the working atmosphere is still urgent and bustling at the construction site of the CT. 08 expressway project.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, many construction teams are being deployed simultaneously at sections passing through Ninh Binh province. Construction units are focusing on treating the roadbed, embanking, and constructing bridges to ensure the set progress.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tam (worker working at the CT. 08 expressway construction site, passing through Nghia Hung commune, Ninh Binh province) said: "Everyone wants to return home early for Tet to reunite with their families, but the construction site is entering an important construction phase, we brothers try to complete the remaining tasks to ensure progress. The unit also creates conditions for workers to have Tet holidays, so everyone is assured to work in the last days of the year.

Previously, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Lai Van Hoan and Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son inspected the progress of the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway project, passing through Ninh Binh province.

After actual inspection in the Ninh Co river overpass area, the two Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches, and localities to closely coordinate with the project enterprise, accelerate site clearance, and strive to hand over the entire remaining site by mid-February 2026.

At the same time, requesting the project enterprise to urgently complete the material mine procedures, focus manpower and equipment, organize scientific construction, ensure progress, quality, safety and project efficiency in accordance with the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister.
