Gia Lai Police complete the campaign to quickly rebuild shelters for people
Gia Lai - The Provincial Police have completed the "Quang Trung Campaign", quickly rebuilding 87 shelters for people in disaster areas, bringing the campaign to the finish line ahead of schedule.
On January 8, Gia Lai Provincial Police said that 87 newly built (100%) houses in the "Quang Trung Campaign" received by the Provincial Police have been completed, ensuring quality and on schedule, bringing joy to households that suffered heavy damage due to natural disasters.
During more than 1 month of implementing the campaign, hundreds of police officers and soldiers, security forces at the grassroots level, divided into 87 working groups, directly supporting the construction of 87 houses in 18 communes and wards. 18 department-level leaders directly monitor, urge and take responsibility for the construction progress.
The campaign encountered many difficulties when many houses were located in high ground, making travel difficult and the weather unfavorable. Many officers and soldiers had to cross the forest, wade through streams, transport cement bags and bricks, work non-stop, and work through Tet to hand over houses to the people in time.
The solid houses have been rebuilt, providing shelter for people, helping them soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters. Each house is not only a place to live, but also a testament to the sense of responsibility and dedication of the People's Public Security soldiers.
