National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attends the launch ceremony of a key project in Dong Nai

On March 5, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the launch ceremony of Component Project 1, Huong Lo 2 road (section from National Highway 51 to Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway).

The Huong Lo 2 construction project is one of the key infrastructure projects of Dong Nai province, playing an important role in completing the urban transportation network.

The investment in the route contributes to forming a traffic axis connecting urban areas along the Dong Nai River, synchronous and modern, associated with urban embellishment and urban space development.

When completed, the road will open a new traffic direction, sharing the pressure for National Highway 51, especially the section from the Vung Tau intersection to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.

At the same time, creating motivation to promote economic, social, commercial, service and tourism development, improving the quality of life of people and the urban center of the province.

The road is more than 9.4 km long, invested in a complete scale of 8 lanes, 60 m of road boundary, with a total investment of nearly 5,900 billion VND.

In which, Component Project 1, compensation, support and resettlement, has a total investment of more than 573 billion VND from public investment capital with a recovered land area of more than 55 hectares. Component Project 2, investing in the construction of Huong Lo 2 road, has a total investment of more than 5,300 billion VND, invested in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut said: Resolution No. 01 of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee has clearly defined the task of mobilizing maximum resources to invest in infrastructure development, in which the focus is on urban transport infrastructure and connecting transport. This is considered an important driving force to promote economic growth, urban embellishment and improve people's lives.

The Huong Lo 2 road project is a specific proof of bringing the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution into practice.

To ensure that the project is implemented on schedule, ensuring quality and promoting investment efficiency, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, People's Committees of Long Hung, Tam Phuoc wards, and An Phuoc commune to focus the highest level of human resources to organize the implementation of compensation, support and resettlement work according to the approved schedule. Ensure that the entire site handover is completed by September 2, 2026.

At the same time, fully and promptly implement policies on compensation, support and resettlement for people.
