President Luong Cuong is close to the people at the Great Unity Festival in Da Nang
Da Nang - On the occasion of the Great National Unity Festival, President Luong Cuong visited and encouraged the people of Go Noi to overcome difficulties after natural disasters.
President: Solidarity is the strength for each locality to develop
On the morning of November 18, Bao An village (Go Noi commune, Da Nang city) was bustling with flags and bright smiles when welcoming the Central delegation to attend the National Great Unity Festival. This is a purely agricultural locality but has been assessed as a bright spot in emulation movements, community life in solidarity and civilization for many years.


The festival was attended by President Luong Cuong; Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, and leaders of ministries, departments, branches and local governments.
Speaking at the festival, President Luong Cuong acknowledged and commended the efforts of the people of Bao An village to always maintain the spirit of solidarity and unity in economic development, building a cultural life, maintaining security and order and actively participating in patriotic emulation movements.

The President kindly shared with the people about the difficulties caused by natural disasters and floods in recent times, affirming that the Party, State, the Fatherland Front and authorities at all levels always care, accompany and care for people's lives, especially poor households, affected households, and policy families.
The President emphasized that the spirit of great national unity is the fulcrum for the people of Go Noi in general and Bao An village in particular to rise up to overcome difficulties, leaving no one behind:
"Great solidarity is not only a precious tradition, but also a strength for each hamlet and locality to develop sustainably. Looking at the spirit of solidarity and solidarity of the people of Bao An today, we believe that this land of the department will continue to achieve many new achievements, contributing to building a rich and beautiful homeland".


On this occasion, leaders of the Party, State and Central Front presented 20 billion VND to the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city to contribute to helping the city promptly overcome the damage caused by natural disasters.
The Central leaders also presented many gifts to disadvantaged households, policy families and households affected by natural disasters in the area, showing concern, sharing, and adding motivation for people to stabilize their lives and restore production.
Bright spot of pure rural areas
Bao An village chief Ngo Cong Hoa said that Bao An is one of 17 villages in Go Noi commune, with a natural area of over 294 hectares, with 625 households and 2,600 people. Average income per capita is estimated at 73 million VND/person/year; the village has achieved the cultural title for 11 consecutive years, more than 98% of families have met the cultural family standards.



Mr. Hoa emphasized: Every result today comes from the consensus and solidarity of the people. In Bao An, we consider each other as family members, sharing difficulties and enjoying the good.
After the ceremony, the people and delegates participated in many fun activities such as cultural exchanges, folk games, and community activities.
This year's Great Unity Festival in Bao An is not only an occasion to summarize the movement, but also a day for people to express their affection and trust in the Party and State; affirming the role of the great national unity bloc in creating stability and sustainable development.
