The Vietnamese rescue team (including forces from the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense) are working very hard, racing every hour and every minute to search for missing people after the earthquake on March 28 in Myanmar.

In particular, in Pokebathiri town, Naypyidaw capital (Myanmar), the Ministry of Public Security's Rescue Team is currently coordinating with 4 Rescue Teams from other countries to search for missing people under the collapsed hotel building (Jade City Hotel - PV).

"The weather in Myanmar is very harsh, the average daily temperature is up to more than 40 degrees Celsius, significantly affecting the health of officers and soldiers during their work," said Captain Do Quang Nam - a member of the Rescue Team of the Ministry of Public Security.

In addition, because it has been about 10 days since the earthquake occurred, many victims' bodies are still lying under collapsed buildings, the stench of death gas is very strong. The process of searching and approaching to get the victim out also requires great caution.

"Courageous Warrior" - the nickname given by teammates to Captain Do Quang Nam, because Captain Nam was the one who directly approached the victims' bodies to carry out disinfection and disinfection work. He was also the one who directly took the most of the victims' bodies out.

To do that, safety protections must be strictly implemented with equipment such as isolation masks, disinfectant jackets, etc.

" Of course, there will be certain discomfort, however, we are not discouraged by those difficulties. The whole team is still trying to complete the assigned tasks well with the spirit of helping you as if helping yourself", Captain Do Quang Nam - a member of the Rescue Team of the Ministry of Public Security shared.

Buildings in Myanmar after the earthquake were determined to have collapsed mainly on the side, not completely collapsing, with the potential risk of secondary collapse if there were earthquakes. This is also considered one of the obstacles to rescue work.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hiep - Rescue Team of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, during their work, officers and soldiers must always observe the stability of the works to avoid the case of machine operations leading to vibrations. This is to ensure the safety of the rescue forces.

The latest figures released by Myanmar Radio and Television show that the death toll from the 7.7 earthquake last weekend in the country was more than 3,300, while nearly 4,800 people were injured and more than 200 people are still missing.

At the scene, many relatives of the victims waited in hope, urging the rescue forces to be determined to get the bodies out as quickly as possible, ensuring safety and safety.

More confidence for the victim's family
