Distributing more than 2.12 billion VND to support people in Nghe An affected by storm No. 3
Nghe An - The Red Cross Society of Nghe An province has organized the distribution of more than 2.12 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 3 and post-storm circulation in 2025.
On March 7, information from the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society said that within the framework of the Project "Emergency relief for households affected by storm No. 3 and post-storm circulation in 2025" funded by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Society for non-refundable aid, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society organized the distribution of support money to people in 2 communes of Luong Minh and Chieu Luu.
In phase 1, 579 households received support, with a total budget of more than 2.12 billion VND.
Households are supported with unconditional cash and conditional cash to build new houses, repair houses, build toilets and buy stainless steel water tanks with a capacity of 1,000 liters.
This support source contributes to helping people gradually overcome damage and soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
The distribution is carried out through a third party, the Nghe An Provincial Post Office, to ensure publicity, transparency and the right beneficiaries.
Distribution activities took place on March 5, March 6 and March 7, 2026, receiving consensus and high appreciation from local authorities and people.
