Can Tho officially announces new government apparatus in 103 communes and wards

On the morning of June 30, in Can Tho City, the Steering Committee 2088 held a Ceremony to announce the Resolution and Decision of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units, establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of cities, communes, wards, and special zones.

At the ceremony, Resolutions and Decisions related to the organization of the apparatus and personnel for commune-level leaders were also announced, including the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Can Tho City in 2025.

Decision of the Party Executive Committee of the province and city on terminating the activities of district Party Committees. Accordingly, 28 district-level Party Committees under 3 provinces and cities of Can Tho, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang will be dissolved.

Decision of the City Party Committee on the establishment of the Party Committee; appointment of personnel for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary; appointment of the Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee; appointment of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Heads of Committees of the People's Council; appointment of Chairman, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee; establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of 103 communes and wards (new) of Can Tho city.
