How to calculate the admission score for the Banking Academy in 2025
The Banking Academy in 2025 enrolls students in 5 ways. Here is how to calculate the admission score to the Banking Academy for parents and students to follow.
In 2025, the Banking Academy plans to recruit 3,644 students through 5 methods: Direct admission; considering academic records; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering the results of the competency assessment exam; considering international certificates.
The admission score is calculated as follows:
Method of considering high school graduation exam scores
For standard programs and international programs, admission scores are calculated on a scale of 40 and converted to a scale of 30. In which the general subject of the admission combinations is multiplied by a coefficient of 2.
The calculation formula is as follows:

For high-quality programs, admission scores are calculated on a 50-point scale and converted to a 30-point scale, in which math and English are multiplied by a coefficient of 2.
The calculation formula is as follows:

In which M1, M2, M3 are the 2025 high school exam scores of 3 subjects in the combination of majors registered for admission. Conclusion M1 is Mathematics, M2 is English.
Method of considering high school transcripts
This year, the Banking Academy plans to reserve 20% of its quota for the transcript review method. The admission condition is that candidates must have good academic performance in grade 12 and the average score of 3 years of study for each subject in the admission combination is 8 or higher.
For standard training programs and international joint training programs: Admission scores are calculated on a 40-point scale and converted to a 30-point scale, in which the score for general subjects is doubled, specifically as follows:

In which M1, M2, M3 is the average score plus 3 years of study of subjects in the subject's admission combination, rounded to two decimals (after the two-digit mark), with M1 being the main subject.
For admission combinations with common Math subjects (including A00, A01, D01, D07, D09), it is stipulated that M1 is Math subject. Particularly for the group of groups C00, C03, D14, D15, the M1 program is Literature.
For High-Quality training programs: Admission scores are calculated on a 50-point scale and converted to a 30-point scale, in which the score for Math and English is doubled, specifically:

In which M1, M2, M3 is the average score plus 3 years of study of subjects in the combination of the major registered for admission, rounded to two decimals (after the two-digit dau). Conclusion M1 is Mathematics, M2 is English.
The additional incentives are calculated as follows:
Group 1: Candidates who won the encouragement prize in the national excellent student competition will be awarded 1.5 points; those who won the First, Second, Third, and Encouragement prize in the provincial/city excellent student competition will be awarded 1,0%; 0.75; 0.5 and 0.25 points respectively (the winning subjects will be awarded points: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, History, Geography, English, and Information Technology).
Group 2: Candidates in the specialized program of a specialized high school will be awarded 0.5 points.
Note: A candidate can be in both different incentive groups. At that time, the additional bonus points will include the total score of the groups that candidates are eligible for additional bonus.
For group 1, if the contestant wins many prizes, only one additional bonus point will be calculated corresponding to the highest prize level. The maximum score that candidates can be encouraged to add up is 2 points, so the admission score will be multiplied by the coefficient to ensure that the maximum scale cannot exceed 30.
Admission by international certificate
The international certificate admission method has 15% of the target. Candidates participating in the international certificate admission must have good academic performance in grade 12 and the average score of 3 years of study for each subject in the admission combination must be 8 or higher.
The method of calculating admission scores using this method is as follows:
Admission score = Certificate of conversion score x 3 + priority points.
The international certificate conversion table of the Banking Academy is as follows:

Admission based on competency assessment test scores
With the V-SAT exam, because the maximum score for 1 subject in the V-SAT exam is 150, then, the conversion to a scale of 30, the admission score with the admission method based on the V-SAT exam is determined as follows:

In which, M1, M2, M3 are V-SAT exam scores for subjects in the combination of majors registered for admission.
For the Hanoi National University's (HSA) competency assessment exam, candidates need to achieve 85 points or more.
Admission formula:
Admission score = HSA × 3 exam conversion score + Priority score
The conversion score for the HSA exam is as follows:

In all methods, the priority point is the priority point for the area and subjects according to the current admission regulations.
