The new Saigon ward will officially come into operation under the two-level government model from July 1, 2025. The preparations have been completed.

Mr. Vo Thanh Phat (specialist at the Saigon Ward Public Administration Center) said that in the process of preparing for the two-level government model, civil servants have been trained on the tasks of the new system. Although it is difficult, he himself feels honored and proud to contribute to the great change, a turning point, and transforming to better serve the people.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Mai Ly - Standing Deputy Secretary of Phu Nhuan Ward Party Committee, together with Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Nhuan Ward in recent days, has directed the team of cadres and civil servants to carry out communication work, build official Fanpages to propagate to the people about the event of the Ceremony to announce resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units, establishing Party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Fatherland Front of provinces, cities, communes, wards, and special zones.
