Minister of Public Security works with MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation

On April 15, in Hanoi, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security - chaired a working session with MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation (MobiFone) on the results of receiving and implementing MobiFone's operations.

According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, recently, after returning to the Ministry of Public Security, MobiFone submitted to the Ministry for promulgation of the Organization and Operation Charter; and submitted a dossier to the Prime Minister for approval of MobiFone as a company directly serving national defense and security.

MobiFone is coordinating with units to amend the Financial Management Regulations; at the same time, developing a plan to review all internal processes and regulations in MobiFone to ensure compliance with the new Charter, new Financial Regulations and the operating mechanism of enterprises directly serving national defense and security.

Regarding development strategy, implementing the direction of the ministry's leaders, MobiFone has a plan to build a Development Strategy for the 2025-2030 period and vision to 2045, ensuring a comprehensive and accurate assessment of MobiFone's capacity, opportunities, challenges and strategic shaping, and orientations in the new period.

Regarding personnel organization, based on the direction of the ministry's leaders, MobiFone is developing a Project to restructure the organization in the direction of eliminating intermediate levels, forming business units in the province; building a specific mechanism to attract talented and excellent experts in various fields to work on MobiFone to effectively meet the tasks in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang said that the transfer of MobiFone to the Ministry of Public Security is an affirmation of the special attention and care of the Party and State to develop MobiFone.

This is to contribute to the development of the security industry, promote the development of science and technology, and digital transformation of the Public Security sector in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

To carry out that task, the Minister suggested that MobiFone must focus on researching strengths to produce telecommunications and technology products that effectively serve the development of businesses and national interests.

Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that MobiFone must pay attention to building a legal corridor to ensure MobiFone's operations to create favorable conditions and remove barriers and obstacles so that MobiFone has strong development conditions, especially when MobiFone becomes a security enterprise.

In addition, the Minister of Public Security also suggested that MobiFone should continue to stabilize its organization, encourage its team of good officers and experts to work with peace of mind, promote youth and creativity in MobiFone's human resources to steadfastly pursue the development goal and successfully achieve that goal, contributing significantly to the development of the security industry in the coming time.
