The Ministry of National Defense talks about the standard qualifications of lecturers in national defense and security education

On January 1, according to the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal, the Ministry of National Defense has just responded to citizens regarding the standard qualifications for lecturers in national defense and security education.

Accordingly, Can Tho City citizens have the question: "A person with a degree from the Archery Command College, who has worked in the Army for 13 years, then transferred to a university, the military rank when transferred to a major, has a degree in Civil Engineering, Master of Education Management, does he meet the standards for the qualification of lecturer in national defense and security education as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree No. 13/2014/ND-CP?".

Responding to the above question, the competent authority of the Ministry of National Defense said: In Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree No. 13/2014/ND-CP dated February 25, 2014 of the Government on the standard qualifications for lecturers in national defense and security education, it is stipulated that:

2. Lecturers must have one of the following standard qualifications: a) Have a bachelor's degree in national defense and security education or higher; b) Military and police officers with a university degree or higher; c) Have a university degree or higher in another major and a certificate of training for teachers, lecturers in national defense and security education and a certificate of pedagogical training".

Compared with Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree 13/2014/ND-CP dated February 25, 2014 of the Government, as citizens ask, "not qualified to teach national defense and security education".
