Da Nang soldiers complete 286 houses in Quang Trung Campaign

On January 21, the Da Nang City Military Command held a conference to summarize the "Quang Trung Thu Phat" Campaign to build and repair houses for people affected by floods in Dak Lak province and Da Nang city.

From mid-October to the end of November 2025, due to the consecutive impact of major storms, the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions will experience particularly severe floods, causing heavy damage to people and property.

Following the direction of the Central Government, the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 5 and the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the Military Command of the city has urgently deployed the "Quang Trung Than Phap" Campaign, mobilizing maximum forces to participate in supporting people in building and repairing houses.

After a period of drastic and urgent implementation with the spirit of " speeding up for the people", 286 houses newly built and repaired by the City Military Command in Dak Lak province and Da Nang city have exceeded the set schedule.

In particular, the city's armed forces directly participated in the construction and repair of 11 houses in Dak Lak province and 275 houses in Da Nang city, shortening the time compared to the plan, contributing to helping disadvantaged households soon stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind and gradually overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

To effectively carry out the campaign, the City Military Command mobilized more than 500 officers and soldiers of the regular force, coordinating with militia and self-defense forces, organizing into many construction teams and teams close to each area.

In unfavorable weather conditions, long material transportation distances, and many areas with cut terrain, the participating forces still strive to work overtime day and night, including holidays, holidays, and Tet, determined to complete each "shelter of love", ensuring the highest quality and progress.

In addition to contributing to working days, agencies and units also proactively coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to survey the current situation, develop appropriate support plans for each household; at the same time, organize forces to help people dismantle temporary houses, clean, level the foundation, reinforce foundations, build walls, roof and complete essential items, ensure safe and solid housing.

In the "Quang Trung Than So" Campaign, the City Military Command has allocated nearly 600 million VND to support the people, donated hundreds of essential items such as TVs, beds, fanbikes, rice cookers, etc., contributing to helping households soon stabilize their lives and gradually improve the quality of life in new houses.

The completion of the campaign not only has practical significance in supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, but also deeply demonstrates the affection and responsibility of the armed forces of Da Nang city towards the people; continuing to spread the beautiful image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" always standing side by side with the people, promptly present in the most difficult places.

In the coming time, the Military Command of the city will continue to coordinate with all levels, sectors and localities to review support needs, implement social security activities, contributing to strengthening the people's hearts, building a strong area, so that people can feel secure in their lives.

On this occasion, the Military Command of the city proposed that the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 5 and the People's Committee of Da Nang City reward many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements; at the same time, award 17 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the "Quang Trung Than Phat" Campaign.
