Binh Dinh urges the progress of a series of key transport projects

In 2024, the Binh Dinh Provincial Traffic Project Management Board (PMB) implemented many important transport projects, basically ensuring good management of progress and quality of the project.

The Provincial Traffic Project Management Board has coordinated with departments, branches and localities to promptly resolve problems, especially compensation and site clearance (GPMB).

Resolutely cut the construction volume of contractors behind schedule, to transfer to capable contractors to ensure project progress.

However, the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board is slow to propose a handling plan for IDV Investment and Trading Services Joint Stock Company due to the slow construction progress, affecting the overall progress of the project.

With the achieved results, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang praised the working spirit of the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board. At the same time, he requested this unit to review and overcome limitations, and direct the drastic management of construction quality management in 2025.

"Seriously learn from experience, immediately correct shortcomings in project management and construction quality, absolutely do not let the project damage after being put into use. The Director of the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board must be responsible to the Provincial Chairman for the quality and progress of the project, Mr. Hoang emphasized.

Regarding the progress of the Binh Dinh Province Coastal Road project, Cat Tien - Diem Van section, Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board to preside over and coordinate with Tuy Phuoc district and related units to urgently relocate households affected by the project, focusing on construction to open the entire route before September 2025.

Coordinate with relevant parties to urgently complete documents and procedures for implementing the construction of the adjusted and supplemented volume and construction of level crossings for the An Nhon Town Center-Center Road project to the coastal road west of Thi Nai lagoon.

"By March 20 at the latest, the project to build a southern bypass of Phu Phong town and build a road connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex Binh Dinh Industrial Park and Urban Area connecting to Quy Nhon Port must be completed.

Develop a detailed schedule for compensation and site clearance for the Phu Cat Airport Expansion Project, including investment in the construction of resettlement areas and burial areas to serve the project. Coordinate with the agencies of the Ministry and the Central branches, promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to implement the Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway project," Mr. Hoang requested.

The Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee directed the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board to speed up site clearance and construction of the Dien Bien Phu Road project extended to Diem Van Urban Area; Coastal Road (DT639), section from National Highway 1D to the new National Highway 19; N5 and D5 routes connecting to the boundary of the land of the Trade Union Institution Construction Project; Ring Road of the Software Center and Science Park of Quy Hoa Science and Education Urban Area.
