Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary works with the Provincial Federation of Labor

At the meeting, the Provincial Federation of Labor reported the results of task implementation in 2024 and the first 2 months of 2025.

Accordingly, the Trade Union at all levels has coordinated with Party committees and authorities to mobilize social resources to support union members, workers, policy families, poor households, and ethnic minorities in disadvantaged areas.

In 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor exceeded the target of 17/17 assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, was awarded the Emulation Flag, Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, and many other titles.

The Provincial Federation of Labor has also reorganized the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, reducing 25% of units, ending the activities of 4 industry unions, and establishing 2 unions at the grassroots level. The grassroots trade unions are transferred in accordance with the new structure and will be put into operation from March 1, 2025.

In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented Plan No. 351-KH/TU and Directive 35.CT/TW on Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress. Trade unions at all levels have actively launched emulation movements, grasped the situation of union members and employees, and promptly reported to superiors.

At the meeting, the Provincial Federation of Labor also proposed that Party committees and authorities at all levels pay attention to implementing Directive No. 06-CT/TU on strengthening and developing trade union organizations in enterprises, and supporting funding for building public housing for teachers and medical staff in disadvantaged areas.

Concluding the meeting, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Minh Cuong acknowledged and appreciated the achievements of the provincial Labor Federation. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the provincial Labor Federation to continue taking care of the lives of union members and workers, continuing to spread the emulation movement and application of information technology in activities. At the same time, the recommendations of the provincial Labor Federation will be considered and settled by relevant departments and branches.
