Ngày 2.2, tại Hà Nội, Ủy viên Bộ Chính trị, Chủ tịch Quốc hội Trần Thanh Mẫn đã chủ trì cuộc họp giao ban tháng 2 của lãnh đạo Quốc hội để đánh giá kết quả công tác tháng 1, cho ý kiến về các nhiệm vụ trọng tâm, ưu tiên trong tháng 2 và thời gian tới.

Phát biểu tại cuộc họp, Chủ tịch Quốc hội Trần Thanh Mẫn nêu rõ, tháng 2 là giai đoạn “nước rút” của nhiều nhiệm vụ trọng yếu.

Điển hình như chuẩn bị cho công tác bầu cử đại biểu Quốc hội khóa XVI và đại biểu HĐND các cấp nhiệm kỳ 2026-2031; chuẩn bị Kỳ họp thứ I của Quốc hội khóa XVI; chuẩn bị các phiên họp của Ủy ban Thường vụ Quốc hội. Đồng thời, tiếp tục triển khai mạnh mẽ chuyển đổi số của Quốc hội theo các nghị quyết, kế hoạch đã ban hành.

According to the National Assembly Chairwoman, visits and gifts must be given to the right people; take care of Tet for officials, civil servants, and employees; develop a Tet duty plan, ensure smooth operation of the agency; organize effective early spring meetings and quickly start work immediately.

Nêu rõ siết chặt kỷ luật, kỷ cương, khắc phục tình trạng né tránh, đùn đẩy trách nhiệm, Chủ tịch Quốc hội yêu cầu tiếp tục thực hiện nghiêm các kết luận của Trung ương về chấn chỉnh lề lối, nâng cao hiệu quả hoạt động; tăng cường kiểm tra, giám sát việc thực thi nhiệm vụ; đề cao trách nhiệm của người đứng đầu.

Văn phòng Quốc hội và các cơ quan tham mưu phải phát huy tốt vai trò "nhắc việc theo mốc", "gỡ vướng theo việc", "báo cáo theo phương án", góp phần nâng cao chất lượng, hiệu quả hoạt động của Quốc hội trong nhiệm kỳ mới.
