The Government has just issued Decree 07/2026/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 of the Government on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces, amended and supplemented by Decree No. 76/2009/ND-CP, Decree No. 14/2012/ND-CP, Decree No. 17/2013/ND-CP and Decree No. 117/2016/ND-CP.

Accordingly, amending, supplementing and abolishing a number of points and clauses of the leadership position allowance table (elected and appointed) in state agencies and public service units of the State; agencies and units under the People's Army and People's Public Security issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces amended and supplemented by Decree No. 76/2009/ND-CP, Decree No. 14/2012/ND-CP, Decree No. 17/2013/ND-CP and Decree No. 117/2016/ND-CP as follows:

Amend and supplement Point a, Clause 4, Section I as follows:

Coefficient of leadership allowances of ministries

Add Clause 8a after Clause 8, Section I as follows:

"8a. People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones under provinces and cities

Amend Point 11.1, Clause 11, Section I as follows:

"11.1. Ministers' Inspectorates, ministerial-level agencies, Ministers' Inspectorates under Departments

a) Inspectors under Ministries and ministerial-level agencies

b) Inspectorate under the Department under the Ministry

Decree 07/2026/ND-CP takes effect from January 10, 2026.
